What is CloudXR

I use CloudXR to stream gaming content over wifi and mobile networks. This is more convenient than using a wire if you want to be able to move around in space while using VR/AR/XR.

Install

First, let’s install CloudXR. Go to this page. [1]

You will need to join the BETA. This tutorial assumes you have already joined and been accepted into the BETA.

You can see below the website asking me to login or join the beta.

I’m going to click login since I already have access.

Click the Agreement to terms checkbox and the click the tab for server

This is because you are about to download the server program for CloudXR.

This server works with SteamVR on your Windows machine and you will set it up in the following steps.

The end result here is that you can start a game on your Windows machine and then stream it over a wifi network or mobile network both your machines are connected to.
